Alison Eaton

Associate National Trainer For Safelives at SafeLives

Alison Eaton is an experienced professional in safeguarding and investigations, currently serving as Director at Quality Ethical Assessments (QEA) Ltd and Director of Safeguarding Against Abuse Ltd. Since August 2017, Alison has also been an Associate National and International Trainer with the UK College of Policing and an Associate National Trainer for SafeLives. Previously, Alison held the position of Detective Chief Inspector at Sussex Police, overseeing a large team focused on child abuse and domestic violence cases. Alison's career in senior roles also includes a tenure as Temporary Detective Superintendent with Alison's Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary, where contributions were made towards national child protection inspections and improvements in police safeguarding practices. Educational credentials include a Post Graduate Diploma with merit in Criminology and a PG Cert in Education, both from the University of Brighton.

We are SafeLives, the UK-wide charity dedicated to ending domestic abuse, for everyone and for good. We work with organisations across the UK to transform the response to domestic abuse. In the last four years, over 2,000 perpetrators have been challenged and supported to change by interventions we created with partners, and that’s just the start. Together we can end domestic abuse.
