Rami Puzis

Co-Founder & Chief Innovation Officer at SAFEMIND Cybersecurity

Rami Puzis has a diverse work experience in academia and cybersecurity. Rami is currently an Associate Professor at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev since January 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Lecturer at the same university from October 2015 to January 2023. Additionally, Rami is the Co-Founder & Chief Innovation Officer at SAFEMIND Cybersecurity since 2021. Rami has also worked as a Cyber Researcher at Intelici since 2016. Before joining Ben-Gurion University, Rami worked as a Lecturer from October 2012 to October 2015. Rami started their career as a Research Associate at the University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies (UMIACS) from November 2011 to October 2012. Rami's extensive expertise in research and development is evidenced by their role as a Research Project Manager at TLabs@BGU, where they worked on various projects related to cybersecurity and entrepreneurial endeavors. In addition, Rami worked as a Programmer during their self-employed period from 2003 to 2005, focusing on web application and information management system development for clients like Intersol Ltd. and Micronet Ltd.

Rami Puzis completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Software Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2003 to 2007. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Information Systems Engineering from the same university, completing it in 2007-2008. Rami then continued their education at Ben-Gurion University and earned a Ph.D. in Information Systems Engineering, which they completed in the years 2007-2009.
