Scott Stender has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Scott began their career in 1995 as an Account Executive at Howard Systems International and held various roles until 1997. In 1997, they joined SafeNet Consulting as a Director of Business Development, where they managed relationships with large accounts and utilized SafeNet's project-based MS solutions in areas such as AI and Data, Cloud Migration and Optimization, and Modern Application Development. In 2009, Scott became an Alpine Ski Instructor at Blizzard Ski & Snowboard School, working primarily with children aged 7 to 14, sharing their passion for skiing and helping them develop their skills in a safe and fun environment.

Scott Stender attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1973 to 1978, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Finance and Marketing. Following this, they enrolled at Michigan State University - Eli Broad College of Business from 1979 to 1980 and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree specializing in Business.
