Callum Coombes has worked in a variety of roles in the technology and engineering industries since 2009. Callum began their career as an Avionics Technician for the British Army, where they were promoted to Lance Corporal in 2011. In 2014, they worked as an Intern Software Engineer for Boniface Engineering and Catalina Software Ltd, where they developed an electronic tracking document and integrated databases into Catalina Software's business management information dashboard software. In 2016, they worked as a Software Engineer for Lockheed Martin, where they developed C# based software emulators for weapons platform simulation systems. From 2017 to 2018, they were an Entrepreneur, where they self-taught himself Android mobile engineering and how to set up and run a business. In 2018, they became the Lead Mobile Engineer for SQN Clinical (Syne qua non Ltd), where they designed and built the Android mobile application architecture. In 2019, they became a Non-Executive Director for MENTA Business Support for Norfolk & Suffolk, and in 2018 they co-founded and became the CEO of Safepoint, a company that saves lives.

Callum Coombes obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of East Anglia between 2013 and 2016. Prior to this, they obtained an Advanced Diploma in Engineering and Technology from the School of Electronic and Aeronautical Engineering, Arborfield in 2009 and 2010. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Lead Generation from Udemy in October 2019, Mental Health First Aider from Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England in September 2019, Accelerate Cambridge Entrepreneurship Education Weekend from Cambridge Judge Business School in April 2019, Complete React Native and Redux from Udemy in November 2018, Java Best Practices and Design Patterns from Learning Tree International in November 2016, and Apache AH Mk1 Aircraft Avionics from Boeing in May 2011.
