At SAFER®, we don’t just manufacture pressure cylinders — we redefine the way the world stores and transports gases.

It all began with a question that changed everything: How can we create a cylinder that is lighter, safer, and more durable than steel?

In 2002, Adam Saferna, founder of Techplast Ltd., began experimenting with forming PET preforms inside steel extinguishers. This modest step sparked a breakthrough in gas storage technology. Over time, with determination, European funding, and a team of engineers, an innovative solution was born — combining lightweight PET liners with Kevlar® composite wrapping. This was the moment SAFER® came to life.
In 2010, our first 6.8-liter cylinder received official certification. Just two years later, we were awarded the prestigious DuPont™ Kevlar® Innovation Award, and leading industry media began writing about a new generation of game-changing pressure cylinders.

SAFER® cylinders are up to 70% lighter than their steel counterparts, yet resistant to corrosion, safe for users, and gas-neutral. They do not conduct electricity, do not overheat, and protect against electric shock — making them reliable even in the toughest conditions: in rescue operations, healthcare, defense, firefighting, and transport.
Our company was born from a bold vision: to merge advanced material science with precision engineering. We design ultralight composite cylinders that push the boundaries of lightness, durability, and safety. For us, innovation is not just technology — it’s a mindset. We combine engineering excellence with automation and world-class quality control.
With an ISO 9001-certified quality management system and our proprietary 9-stage production standard, we guarantee consistency and reliability in every cylinder we deliver.

Welcome to SAFERCYLINDERS.COM — where innovation meets perfection, and every detail matters. Together, we are shaping the future of gas storage.
