Leigh Appel

Leigh Appel has extensive work experience in the software engineering and technology field. They started their career in 2006 as a Software Engineer at Customer Management Technologies. In 2008, they joined Intelligent Pathways as a Senior Software Engineer and Consultant, where they worked until 2014. Leigh then transitioned to Virgin Australia as a Senior Software Engineer and worked there until 2014. In 2015, they co-founded Safesite and took on the role of CTO & Co-Founder. Recently, in 2020, Leigh became a Co-Founder at Foresight Commercial Insurance.

Leigh Appel attended Griffith University from 2003 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Information Technology degree with a specialization in Computer Science.
