Jozef Halaj began their work experience in 2017 with CESNET, z.s.p.o as a Software Developer & IoT Security Researcher. In this role, they conducted IoT security research and developed a secure home solution using primarily C++. Additionally, they were responsible for developing a server for sensor data collection and control for the BeeeOn smart home system and analyzed security vulnerabilities of the Z-Wave and Bluetooth Low Energy technologies.
In 2019, Halaj joined Safetica as a macOS Developer. Here, they worked in an agile team developing a data-loss protection solution, and was responsible for developing a macOS endpoint security solution and new multi-platform sensitive content detection technology.
