Marcos X. Sanchez-Plata

Marcos X. Sanchez-Plata is currently an advisor at SafeTraces. Marcos was previously a food safety specialist at IICA-Miami from January 2009 to May 2014, and IICA Washington DC from June 2014 to September 2014. From January 2004 to December 2008, they were an assistant professor at Texas A&M University.

Marcos X. Sanchez-Plata has a Ph.D. in Food Science and Technology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, an MBA in Agribusiness from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and a Master of Science in Food Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Marcos also has a degree in Biochemistry from Universidad Central del Ecuador.
