Katie Rowe

Katie Rowe has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Starting in 2011, they worked as the Pro Bono Students Canada Coordinator for Student Legal Services of Edmonton. In 2012, they joined Pro Bono Law Alberta as a Program Assistant/Volunteer Lawyer Services Program Coordinator. Katie then transitioned to the Government of Alberta in 2013, where they held multiple positions, including Senior Policy Analyst and Executive Advisor. Katie worked their way up to the role of Director, Registries Administration, and Accountability before leaving in 2022. In the same year, they joined the Safety Codes Council as the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs. In 2023, they briefly served as the Acting President and CEO of the Safety Codes Council.

Katie Rowe completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy at the University of Calgary in 2009. Katie later pursued their Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) at the University of Alberta, which they completed in 2012.
