Brigh Desjardins, FCAS, MAAA, is an actuary specializing in reserving at Safety National since January 2022, where responsibilities include conducting quarterly analyses for Commercial Auto, General Liability, and Large Guaranteed Cost Workers’ Compensation, introducing methods to account for social inflation, and developing estimates for COVID-19 impacts. Prior experience at EY spanned from August 2016 to December 2021, progressing from Actuarial Analyst to Manager, during which Brigh led client engagements, presented analyses to C-Suite executives, and contributed to the preparation of actuarial opinions and reserve documentation. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management with a focus on Actuarial Science from Penn State University, complemented by an internship at Pfizer and earlier experience as a Caddie at Waynesborough Country Club.
