Christopher Geering

Christopher Geering is an experienced actuary with a robust background in pricing, reserving, and strategic planning within the insurance industry. As a Senior Pricing Actuary at Safety National since September 2019, Christopher focuses on the workers' compensation line of business. Prior to this role, Christopher had a long tenure at Missouri Employers Mutual, where significant contributions included completing annual rate indications and conducting detailed reserve studies. Christopher also led Geering Actuarial Consulting, LLC, providing expertise in pricing and reserving for various property and casualty insurance lines. Previous positions include roles at CNA Insurance, Coopers & Lybrand Consulting, and Hewitt & Associates, where Christopher specialized in personal and commercial lines reserving and pension plan valuations. Academic achievements include a Master of Science in Teaching of Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
