Scott Malstrom

Scott Malstrom has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Scott currently works as a Consulting Safety Officer at Safety Partners, Inc. since November 2020. Prior to that, they were a Product Manager at PerkinElmer, Inc. from October 2018 to July 2020.

Scott spent a significant portion of their career at MIT, where they held the position of Technical Director of Animal Imaging and Preclinical Testing Facility from September 2009 to September 2018.

Additionally, they worked briefly as a Contractor at T2Biosystems from March 2009 to May 2009.

Before joining MIT, Scott served as the Head of In Vivo Imaging at Ore Pharmaceuticals from 2005 to September 2008. Scott'sresponsibilities involved developing and deploying animal models for compound annotation, interpreting data for disease treatment hypotheses, and conducting additional heuristic studies.

Scott also had a long tenure at Xenogen Corporation, where they held the roles of Senior Scientist in the Light Producing Transgenic Animal Division and Senior Scientist. Scott'swork at Xenogen involved developing in vivo assays, creating mouse models for various conditions, and proposing an endocrine signaling program. Scott'stime at Xenogen lasted from 2000 to 2005.

Scott Malstrom attended Saint Louis University School of Medicine from 1990 to 1995, where they obtained a Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology.
