Co-Founder and Board member at SafeUP - Women's Safety Net

Tal Zohar Avda has a diverse range of work experience. Tal is currently the Managing Partner for Digital Horizon VC, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to this, they were a Co-Founder, Board Member, and COO of SafeUP - Women's Safety Net, a role they held from 2019 to 2023. Tal also briefly served as the Founder and CEO of SafeUP from July 2019 to November 2019. In 2021, they worked as a Guest Lecturer at the University of Cambridge.

From 2017 to 2019, Tal was the Founder and CEO of ArtuData, an AI-based company that helps online brands grow. Tal also held the role of Head of Elite Connect and a member of the Elite Management Team at London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) from May 2017 to July 2018.

Prior to this, they served as the Global Innovation Officer and a member of the Group's Management at IG from October 2014 to April 2017, where they generated over $30 million in yearly revenue. Tal also has experience as a Guest Lecturer at Collage of Management from October 2011 to January 2015, and as the Chairman of the Trading Arenas Association at the Chamber of Commerce Israel from October 2010 to November 2014.

Before their roles in the business sector, Tal worked as the CEO of FXCM Israeli Branch from October 2009 to October 2014, where they led the office from its startup phase to a successful IPO. Tal also served as the Head of the Advisory Board for Digital Transformation at the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel from January 2009 to August 2010, where they initiated and oversaw a project to improve government services through digital transformation.

Tal Zohar Avda has a diverse and comprehensive education history. In 2000, they began their undergraduate studies at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economy and Management in 2004. Following this, Tal pursued further studies and enrolled at Bar-Ilan University from 2007 to 2009 to pursue a Master's degree in Law.

With a keen interest in business and management, Tal enrolled at the University of Oxford in 2017. They completed a short-term program focused on Managing Innovative Technology, receiving a degree in Business Administration and Management.

In addition to their academic pursuits, Tal also obtained a certification namely, the Series 3 - Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA), which was issued by the National Futures Association in 2007. However, it is worth noting that the certification has since expired, implying that it may not be currently valid.
