Sean McGinness currently serves as the National Tax Partner and Head of the Edinburgh office at Saffery, a position held since May 2017. In these roles, Sean is responsible for the firm’s strategic approach to tax services as well as the strategic direction in the local market. Prior to joining Saffery, Sean held various positions at The VAT Consultancy, Ernst & Young, and Smith & Williamson, accumulating extensive experience in VAT management. Sean earned an LLB (Hons) in Law from the University of Glasgow between 1997 and 2001.
