David Rendell

David Rendell is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in risk management and executive leadership within the financial sector. Currently serving as Non Executive Director and Chair of the Risk Committee at Saffron Building Society since March 2020, David has also held roles including Non Executive Director at Allium Lending Group from July 2019 to March 2021, and Chief Executive Officer at GDFC plc before it was renamed Allium Lending Group from September 2016 to July 2019. Prior to these positions, David worked at GE Capital for nearly two decades, culminating in the role of Chief Risk Officer, with additional experience as Chief Risk Officer at GE Artesia Bank and Managing Director of Green Financing at GE Capital EMEA. David holds a degree in Industrial Economics from the University of Nottingham.
