Alex Ball

Alex Ball currently serves as the Managing Director at Safran, where responsibility includes leadership and culture development for over 900 employees at the Gloucester OEM site, contributing to the competitiveness of the site through strategic execution. Previously, Alex held the position of Vice President of Operations at Safran, overseeing a production output of over £550 million annually and managing a large team across various functional areas. Prior roles at Safran Seats included Vice President of Aftermarket/Programmes and Engineering Services and Director of Aftermarket, with a focus on strategic growth and customer service improvements. Earlier experience at Messier-Bugatti-Dowty involved leading significant programs and managing the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul business unit. Alex holds various educational credentials, including a Green Belt certification in Continuous Improvement and Lean, a Certificate in Management Studies, and a Higher National Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering.
