Éric Dalbiès

EVP, Research & Technology and Innovation at Safran

Éric Dalbiès is the EVP of Research & Technology and Innovation at Safran. Before joining Safran, they were the chief engineer for the HM7 and Vinci rocket engines at Société Européenne de Propulsion from January 1992 to December 2004. Under their leadership, the team developed the HM7 engine, which powers the Ariane 5 rocket, and the Vinci engine, which is used on the Ariane 6 rocket. Dalbiès has been instrumental in Safran's success in the aerospace industry, and they continue to lead the company's research and development efforts.

Éric Dalbiès was educated at the École Polytechnique and ISAE-SUPAERO.

Éric Dalbiès reports to Olivier Andries, Chief Executive Officer. They are on a team with Celeste Thomasson - Corporate Secretary, Alexandre Ziegler - SEVP, International and Public Affairs, and Cédric Goubet - CEO, Safran Landing Systems.
