James Williams

James Williams is a Senior Engineering Project Lead at Safran, responsible for overseeing multiple aircraft seating programs for first and business class cabins since March 2022. Prior to this role, James served at AKKA UK from July 2018 to March 2022 as a Work Package Leader for Fuel & Landing Gear Lab Integration Test, where responsibilities expanded to include line management and bid preparation. Earlier experience includes roles at Airbus as a Fuel & Landing Gear Test Intern, focusing on systems testing for A350 aircraft, and at BLOODHOUND SSC Programme Ltd as a Bloodhound Ambassador. James holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Aerospace Engineering from Swansea University, completed in 2018.
