Lee Goodwin Ieng Mimeche

Lee Goodwin IEng MIMechE is a highly experienced engineer specializing in mechanical design and product engineering. Currently serving as Principal Product Engineer (Research and Technology) at Safran since October 2019, Lee leads a team developing the ENGINeUS XL electric motor for the next generation of aircraft. Previous roles include extensive work at JCB, where responsibilities encompassed design for backhoe cab improvements and product specification development, among others. Lee has also held positions at Perkins Engines and Caterpillar Inc., and has contributed to educational initiatives as a STEM Ambassador and a volunteer with the British Airliner Collection. Lee obtained a 2:1 BSc (Hons) in Industrial Design from Loughborough University.
