Nick Earl is the CEO of Safran Helicopter Engines UK, where they lead a team of 165 and oversee some of the organization's most significant client relationships, including the UK Ministry of Defence and civil customers such as Babcock Aviation, Bristow Helicopters and Airbus Helicopters, with responsibility for a P&L of more than €100m.
Prior to this, they served as Contract Director at VT Group International (2007–2008) and as Business Development Manager, contributing to bid management and solution development for major programmes such as the MoD's UKMFTS and SKIOS.
Their earlier career includes service as an Air Engineer Officer in the Royal Navy (1993–2001) and leadership roles at Babcock International Group PLC, where they were Operations Director, Air (2012–2015) and General Manager, White Fleet.
They have served on the Advisory Board of the University of Portsmouth's Business and Law School since 2019.
They earned a BEng (Hons) in Aeronautics from the University of Southampton (1989–1992).
