Juan Sebastian B. is an experienced audio-visual technician with a solid background in technical management and production support within the performing arts. Currently serving as an Audio Visual Technician at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation since December 2021, Juan Sebastian has previously held roles such as Stream Engineer at The Unusual Suspects Theatre Company and Assistant Managing Director at Ojai Playwrights Conference, where responsibilities included coordinating schedules and managing production workflows. Additional experience includes positions as Master Electrician for The Del Rey Players and Technical Manager for Mane Entertainment, demonstrating expertise in lighting, sound design, and team leadership. Juan Sebastian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts from Loyola Marymount University and has also contributed to customer service and administrative roles in various capacities earlier in their career.

Founded in 1985, the Foundation is a national non-profit organization, independent from SAG-AFTRA, and relies solely on support from grants, corporate sponsorships, and individual contributions to maintain its programs and create new ones.
