Susan Reed is a seasoned voice-over artist affiliated with SAG-AFTRA and has been contributing to the SAG-AFTRA Foundation since February 2015. As the founder of Chicago2LA Films since January 2018, Susan has established a presence in the film industry. Additional roles include serving as a voice-over artist and talent script reader at Tyler Perry Studios and founding the Midwest Christian-Inspirational Indie Film Festival, which promotes Christian and inspirational films. Susan has also held positions as a production assistant for BET Networks during the BET Experience 2017, a talent coordinator for the American Black Film Festival, a trustee for the Village of Lynwood, and an administrator for the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. Education includes attendance at Columbia College Chicago.

The SAG-AFTRA Foundation provides vital assistance and educational programming to the professionals of SAG-AFTRA while serving the public at large through its signature children’s literacy program. Founded in 1985, the Foundation is a national non-profit organization, independent from SAG-AFTRA, and relies solely on support from grants, corporate sponsorships, and individual contributions to maintain its programs and create new ones.
