Lauren Kacherski

Lauren Kacherski is an experienced educator currently serving as an ENL Teacher at Sag Harbor UFSD since August 2020, teaching various subjects including 7th and 8th Grade Social Studies, ENL Math, and ENL English. Previous positions include a Social Studies Teacher, Leave Replacement Spanish Teacher at Roslyn Union Free School District, Leave Replacement for ENL/Social Studies at Longwood CSD, and Leave Replacement for ENL Grades 4-6 at Huntington School District. Additional experience includes an Administrative Internship at Stony Brook University, where Lauren supported the Vice Provost of Faculty Affairs, and various roles as a substitute teacher. Lauren holds an Advanced Certificate in Bilingual and Multilingual Education from Adelphi University, a Master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Stony Brook University, and a Bachelor's degree in History and Spanish from the University at Buffalo, complemented by a study abroad experience at Universitat de Barcelona.
