Jennifer Yen

Jennifer Yen is a seasoned bioinformatics professional with extensive experience in oncology and molecular biology. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Bioinformatics at SAGA Diagnostics since March 2025, Jennifer leads global efforts in building bioinformatics teams and developing solutions for monitoring minimal residual disease in cancer patients. Prior roles include Associate Director of Computational Biology at Exai Bio, where Jennifer directed pharma collaborations for an RNA-based liquid biopsy test, and Senior Bioinformatics Manager at Guardant Health, overseeing late-stage oncology products. Jennifer's career also includes significant contributions at Personalis, Inc. and the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, focusing on cancer genomics and diagnostic interpretation. Jennifer holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Cambridge and a B.Sc. in Molecular Biology from the University of Toronto.
