Rafael Barrenechea

Rafael Barrenechea is an accomplished Principal Control Systems Engineer at SAGE Automation since April 2011, with a solid foundation in control systems and automation. Prior experience includes a role as Development Engineer at Technology Integrators, where Rafael developed high technology communications systems and new product hardware and software. As IT Manager at Synergex Corporation, Rafael managed the IT team for the Mexico branch, handling Active Directory and user account management. Earlier experience as a Control Engineer at SIMA involved designing, programming, testing, and commissioning SCADA applications for substations in the mining and brewing industries, as well as contributing to product development for electric and motor relays. Rafael holds a degree in Electronics Engineering with a focus on Control Automation from Universidad Iberoamericana in Ciudad de México.
