Jay Hodgson

Jay Hodgson has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jay began their career as an intern at Physio Control in 1996, where they gained experience in product operating software programming. In 1997, they worked as a Software Test Engineer at Microsoft Corporation (Volt Computer Services) during the summers.

Jay then joined Rosetta Biosoftware in 2001 as a Quality Assurance Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Software Developer. Jay eventually became the Lead Software Developer and played a significant role in the company until 2009.

In 2009, Jay joined Ceiba Solutions as a Senior Developer and worked there until 2012. During their time at Ceiba Solutions, they acquired valuable expertise in development.

Shortly after leaving Ceiba Solutions, Jay joined Sage Bionetworks as a Sr. Software Engineer in 2012. Jay worked on the development of Synapse, a SaaS product, playing a crucial role in its design and implementation. In 2016, they were promoted to the role of Principal Software Engineer, where they oversaw the web-tier architecture and led the creation of a shared React-based component library. Recently, Jay is serving as the Director of Web Engineering at Sage Bionetworks, where they manage a team of engineers and directs the overall web architecture and development.

Throughout their career, Jay has consistently demonstrated strong technical expertise and has been closely involved in various leadership and development roles, making valuable contributions to each organization.

Jay Hodgson attended Woodinville High School, however, no specific dates or degrees were provided for this period. After high school, Jay went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Western Washington University, completing this education from 1996 to 2001.
