Meghasyam Tummalacherla

Meghasyam Tummalacherla has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. In 2013, Meghasyam served as a Research Intern at Sysmex Corporation, gaining valuable experience in Technopark. The following year, they became the General Secretary of the Electrical Engineering Students Association at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. In 2014, Meghasyam joined the Centre For Distance Engineering Education Programme (CDEEP) as a Senior Project Technical Assistant. In this role, they led a team of students in coordinating the development of additional course material for two Massive Open online courses. Meghasyam also collaborated with students from IIT Bombay to gather feedback and improve the courses.

Meghasyam's research experience continued at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), where they worked as a Research Intern in the Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory (EMSL) in 2016. Later that year, they became a Teaching Assistant at the University of California San Diego, a position they held until mid-2017.
