Jan Brzeski

Jan Brzeski is the Founder and Managing Director of Sage Credit Investment Partners (SCIP), a private lender to experienced real estate investors and developers, dedicated to offering predictable, non-correlated returns to private credit investors. Throughout his career in real estate private credit, Mr. Brzeski has participated in more than 1,800 real estate transactions and has invested more than $3.5 billion on behalf of investors and partners. Prior to founding SCIP, Mr. Brzeski founded Arixa Capital, where he served as Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer, overseeing all investment decisions, including managing two funds that generated compound annual returns of 8.0% and 9.7%. Under his leadership, Arixa became a leading private credit investment manager in its markets, established a joint venture with Oaktree Capital, and was named to the Inc. 5000 fastest-growing private companies list multiple times.

Previously, Mr. Brzeski was the Vice President of Acquisitions at Standard Management Company (SMC), a Los Angeles-based private real estate investment firm. Mr. Brzeski began his financial career as an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs. Mr. Brzeski holds a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Dartmouth College and a Master of Arts in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University. He is a regular speaker, moderator and panelist at various industry conferences and events, and has recently launched a podcast to discuss rebuilding Los Angeles after the recent fires there.
