Abija Nambiar

Abija Nambiar is a seasoned sustainability professional with extensive experience in sustainability reporting, climate risk frameworks, carbon accounting, and green audits. Currently serving as Principal Consultant at SAGE Sustainability since April 2023, Abija previously held the position of Senior Sustainability Associate at the same company from April 2018 to March 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a Sustainability Associate at Volvo Group India Pvt Ltd, where contributions were made to the Environment Statement for Volvo Trucks, and an early career at Sobha Developers Pvt Ltd as a Customer Relations Executive and at Secon Surveys Pvt Ltd as a Design Engineer, focusing on irrigation project design. Abija holds a PG Diploma in Environment and Sustainable Development from Indira Gandhi National Open University and a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Ramaiah Institute Of Technology.
