Andrew Lee

Andrew Lee has a wide range of work experience in the field of health economics and outcomes research (HEOR). Andrew currently holds the position of Executive Director, Early Development HEOR Strategy at Sage Therapeutics, starting in November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Vertex Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Director, leading HEOR activities for pipeline programs from November 2019 to November 2022.

Before Vertex, Andrew worked at Sunovion Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Director, focusing on HEOR for neurology drugs from January 2018 to November 2019. Andrew also has experience at Biogen, where they held multiple roles, including Director of Global Value and Access from March 2016 to January 2018, and Associate Director of Global Market Access from August 2013 to March 2016.

Earlier in their career, Andrew worked at sanofi-aventis as an Associate Director of HEOR in oncology from June 2012 to August 2013, and at Amgen as a Manager of Value and Access for nephrology from May 2010 to May 2012.

Andrew's career in health economics and outcomes research began with research internships at UCSF in 2007 and the University of Pennsylvania Health System from 2003 to 2005, where they served as a health economics researcher.

Andrew continued their educational journey by attending The Wharton School, where they obtained their PhD in Health Care Management & Economics, specializing in the field of study from 2002 to 2010.
