Sigui Li

Sigui Li has a diverse background in biostatistics, with experience working for various pharmaceutical and research companies. They most recently served as the Senior Director of Biostatistics at Sage Therapeutics, a position they have held since December 2021. Prior to that, Sigui held roles as Director of Biostatistics and Associate Director of Biostatistics at Sage Therapeutics from 2019 to 2021.

Before joining Sage Therapeutics, Sigui worked at Merrimack Pharmaceuticals Inc. as an Associate Director of Biostatistics from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they worked at PPD Inc. from 2015 to 2016, serving as a Sr. Manager, Biostatistician. Sigui also gained valuable experience at PPD from 2012 to 2015, serving as the Manager of Biostatistics and overseeing multiple projects and a team of junior statistics staff.

Sigui's career in biostatistics began at PPD,Inc in 2010, where they served as the Biostatistics Team Lead. Prior to that, they worked at Quintiles from 2007 to 2010, starting as a Biostatistician II before progressing to the role of Sr. Biostatistician. During their time at Quintiles, Sigui managed large Global Phase III studies, coordinated team statisticians, and contributed to analysis and interpretation of study findings.

Sigui's early career involved working at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute from 2001 to 2006 as a Biostatistician. They took a lead role in statistical analysis for clinical trials and collaborated with investigators on study design and grant proposals.

Sigui Li completed a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Statistics from The University of Georgia from 1999 to 2001. Prior to that, from 1994 to 1998, Li earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Veterinary Medicine from Nanjing Agricultural University.
