Gareth Howe

Gareth Howe is an experienced Software Engineering Manager with a career spanning over 29 years in software development and project management. Since November 2002, Gareth has played a pivotal role at Sage, leading teams in the development and testing of desktop tax software for accountants, ensuring compliance with legislation and HMRC requirements. Prior to Sage, Gareth served as Project Manager at Ramesys and Apex Software Ltd, where leadership of cross-functional teams resulted in successful software updates and releases. Early in the career, Gareth worked as a Developer at IBIS Business Information Systems Ltd, contributing to the full development lifecycle of tax and payroll software. Gareth holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from The University of Manchester and A Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Computing from Holy Cross College.
