Mark Leybourne

Mark Leybourne is an experienced technology professional with a robust background in software engineering and site reliability. Currently serving as the Site Reliability Engineering Manager at Sage since April 2019, Mark leads the SRE function within the Sage Network ecosystem, focusing on large-scale business-critical SaaS systems. Prior roles include Principal Engineer at Sage, where Mark developed serverless SaaS identity and security capabilities, and DevOps Architect at Barclays, leading the BUK DevOps Tools Platform. With a strong foundation in technical architecture from positions at Interact and Avecto, as well as various engineering roles at companies like AppSense and Thermo Fisher Scientific, Mark has consistently contributed to the design and delivery of innovative technology solutions. Mark holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Sunderland.
