Annika Peterson's work experience begins in 2018 when they worked as a Lead Brand Ambassador for Atlas College Marketing Group, Inc. During this role, they focused on developing brand recognition on campus for Pier One Imports and Juice Organics, organizing teams, and training additional Brand Ambassadors.
In 2018, Annika also worked for Cancer Be Glammed, first as a Marketing Intern where they assisted with PR and media opportunities, created editorial calendars, and increased social media presence. Annika then became a Social Media Manager and continued to manage social media posts and content production, achieving significant increases in Twitter and Instagram engagement and followers.
In 2019, Annika worked as an Administrative Assistant for OPT4 Group, providing daily administrative support, creating quotes for customers, and assisting the marketing team with creating flyers and promotional packages.
In 2020, they participated in a virtual summer internship program as an Underwriter for Selective's, where they focused on improving a company-owned marketing tool and trained multiple departments on transitioning to Microsoft Teams.
In 2020-2021, Annika worked as a Marketing Intern for Cooper Apparel & Promotions, implementing digital advertising campaigns, creating social media content, and building email marketing campaigns.
In 2021, Annika joined the University of Pittsburgh's Pitt Business Digital Marketing Institute for a brief period.
From 2021 to 2022, Annika worked as a Marketing Coordinator for Newrez LLC, contributing to marketing strategies, campaigns, and events, and assisting in the development and implementation of the company's brand strategy.
Finally, in 2022, Annika became an Associate Account Manager for Sagefrog Marketing Group, LLC. In this role, they act as a primary point of contact for clients, manages client relationships, collaborates internally to develop high-quality services, and assists in developing strategic marketing plans.
Annika Peterson received their Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Supply Chain Management, and Business Information Systems from the University of Pittsburgh in the period between 2017 and 2021. In 2020, they also studied Marketing at the Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo but did not obtain a degree from there. Additionally, in March 2021, they obtained the Google Ads Search Certification from Google and later, in September 2022, they obtained the Inbound Marketing certification from HubSpot.
