Omer Farooque

Omer Farooque is the Chief Technology Officer at Sagent since September 2022, where leadership involves the vision, strategy, and execution of innovative mortgage servicing solutions within the FinTech sector. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Vice President of Product Engineering at Sagent, and SVP of Product Engineering at Mr. Cooper from July 2018 to September 2023. Omer also held the position of Vice President of Product Strategy at Riversand Technologies, focusing on the retail, manufacturing, and distribution sectors, and accumulated over 16 years of experience at Infosys in various leadership roles, including Senior Principal Consultant and Principal Architect. Omer holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Madras and Crescent Engineering, earned from 1995 to 1999.
