Chuan Qin

Chuan Qin has a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry, with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Chuan served as the President of Sagent Pharmaceuticals starting in September 2008. Prior to that, they were the Vice President at Hisun Pharmaceuticals from 2003 to 2006. Chuan Qin also worked at Baxter International Inc. for over a decade, starting in 1990. During their time at Baxter, they held positions such as Managing Director, Business Director, Manager, and Senior Principal Engineer.

Chuan Qin has an extensive education history spanning several years. In 1978, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Jilin University. Later on, in 1982, Chuan Qin pursued further studies at the Chinese Academy of Science, where they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry in 1987. Subsequently, Chuan Qin engaged in Post Doctoral Research at Colorado State University from 1989 to 1990. Later on, in 1996, they pursued an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, which they completed in 1998.
