Sadiya Abjani

Sadiya Abjani has a diverse work experience starting from 2009. Their most recent role is as the Director of Learning and Instructional Design at SAGE, which they started in December 2021. Prior to this, they were the Director of Learning and Equity at SAGE, where they were responsible for implementing organization-wide changes and creating an equity framework for content creation and training delivery. Sadiya has also held positions at Services & Advocacy for GLBT Elders (SAGE), Equal Rights Center, National Ismaili Tariqa and Religious Education, ELF LLC, South Asian Americans Leading Together (SAALT), The University of Texas at Austin, and Ismaili Tariqah and Religious Education. Their roles involved areas such as training and online learning management, corporate partnerships, teaching, communications and curriculum management, voter education and outreach coordination, and test administration.

Sadiya Abjani pursued their education from 2007 to 2011 at The University of Texas at Austin. During this period, they completed a Double Bachelors of Art degree with a major in Islamic Studies and English.
