Teri Townsend MBA, PMP is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in the financial services and insurance sectors. Currently serving as VP Technology at Sagicor Life Insurance Company and VP Application Development and Project Delivery at Sagicor Financial Corporation Limited since 2013 and 2014 respectively, Teri is responsible for managing a program to implement the new IFRS 17 Accounting standard for the Sagicor Group of companies. As a technology consultant at TTech Consulting since 2007, Teri provides expertise in technology strategy, planning, and project management. Prior experience includes a role as Vice President of Corporate IT at Sagicor Financial Corporation from 2000 to 2006, overseeing IT operations for an international financial services group.
