John Cangelosi

CEO and Co-Founder at Sagis Dx

John Cangelosi, MD began their work experience in 2009 as a Fellow at the College of American Pathologists. From July 2009 to June 2010, they worked as a Physician at MD Anderson Cancer Center. In 2011, they became the President/CEO of Sagis, PLLC, and in 2019, they took on the role of Co-Founder/Chairman at the same company.

John Cangelosi, MD attended Strake Jesuit for their high school education. John then went on to Texas A&M University, where they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Bio-Medical Science from 1996 to 2000. Afterward, they attended The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston) from 2000 to 2005, where they obtained their Medical Doctor degree. John proceeded to complete a residency in AP/CP Pathology at The University of Texas Medical Branch from 2005 to 2009. Following this, John pursued fellowships in Surgical Pathology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center from 2009 to 2010, and in Dermatopathology at The University of Texas Medical Branch from 2010 to 2011. Lastly, in 2023, they enrolled in the Owner/Management Program (OPM) at Harvard Business School.
