Carlo Marcelino has a diverse work experience starting from 2000 when they interned at Philippine National Bank. Carlo then worked as an Associate Network Operator at Geneva Technical Services, providing support for branch sites. In 2002, they joined HSBC/Household International as a Network Technician, responsible for level 1 support. Carlo later became a Senior Network Technician and Network Engineer at HSBC.
In 2007, Marcelino joined HSBC as a Network Engineer, where they handled the design, support, and implementation of the HSBC Extranet. Carlo also served as a Senior Network Technician, troubleshooting routing issues and leading the network operations center technical team.
Marcelino then moved on to FTD in 2011, where they worked as a Senior Network Engineer and later became the Lead Network Engineer. In 2012, they joined Dotomi, a ValueClick Company, as a Senior Network Engineer and Consultant.
From 2013 to 2019, Marcelino worked at SPINS, starting as a Director of IT Operations and progressing to Vice President of IT and then Head of Engineering & IT. During this time, they oversaw infrastructure engineering, IT security, and network operations.
In 2019, Marcelino joined Insureon as a Vice President of Security and IT Ops. Carlo was later promoted to Vice President of Infrastructure and Security and then to Senior Vice President of Infrastructure and Security.
Most recently, in 2023, Marcelino became the Chief Technology Officer at Sago.
Carlo Marcelino completed their Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from PW College of Davao. Carlo attended this institution from 1998 to 2001. Prior to that, they attended West Springfield High School from 1995 to 1997, although they did not obtain a degree or specialize in any field of study during that time.
