Ismail Ahmed

Ismail Ahmed is an experienced entrepreneur and leader, currently serving as the Founder and Director of Sahamiye Foundation since September 2019. Prior to this, Ismail founded and held multiple leadership roles, including Chairman and CEO, at WorldRemit, a leading digital money transfer service renowned for its mobile-first approach, from December 2009 to June 2024. Ismail's educational background includes an Executive MBA from London Business School and advanced degrees, including a PhD and an MSc in economics with distinction from the University of London.
