Dymanh Chhoun

Dymanh Chhoun is a Multimedia Journalist at Sahan Journal since May 2023, with a strong background in photojournalism and program management. Chhoun has served as a Hubbard School Fellow for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at the Hubbard School of Journalism and Mass Communication, while previously working as a Photojournalist at KARE 11 and WCCO | CBS Minnesota. Notable achievements include nominations for multiple Upper Midwest Emmy Awards and winning first place at the SPJ Page One Awards in 2016. With proficiency in Live Truck operations and Final Cut Pro editing, Chhoun has extensive experience in covering breaking news, sports, and features across various media outlets. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Minnesota and an Associate in Arts Degree in Communication from Normandale Community College.
