Ali Ahmar Zaidi has nearly 25 years of experience in the field of human resources. Ali started their career at Sahara India Pariwar in 1992, where they worked as a Senior Manager until 2007. Ali then joined the Sahara India Group as a Deputy Chief Manager- Corporate HR and held this position until 2012. From 2012 to 2014, Ali served as the Head of Human Resources for the entire Media sector of the organization. Following this, they worked as a Deputy General Manager-HR from 2014 to 2017, where they focused on various HR functions such as policy implementation, disciplinary procedures, and training and development. Most recently, Ali served as an Assistant Director-HR, responsible for developing HR strategies, managing operations, and ensuring compliance with labor regulations.
Ali Ahmar Zaidi has a diverse educational background spanning various fields and institutions. Ali pursued a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Chemistry from Aligarh Muslim University from 1984 to 1988. Following this, they further pursued a Master of Science degree in Analytical Chemistry from the same institution in 1989-1990.
In 1996-1998, Ali studied at the Indira Gandhi National Open University, obtaining a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management. Later, they enrolled at the University of Lucknow and obtained an LL.B degree in Law from 2000 to 2003.
Besides their formal education, Ali also holds several additional certifications. In 2016, they achieved certification as a Certified Human Resource Manager from Vskills - India's Largest Certification Body. In 2017, they obtained the Certified Labor Law Analyst certification from the same institution. Most recently, in 2022, Ali obtained a Certificate of Achievement from the Labor Laws Institute for completing a training program on Anti Sexual Harassment of Women at the workplace.
