Dorota Gancarz

Dorota Gancarz is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in risk management, quality assurance, and compliance within the research and health sectors. Currently serving as Head of Risk at SAHMRI, Dorota oversees the organisation's Risk Management and Assurance functions, focusing on the evaluation and mitigation of operational and strategic risks. Previous roles at SAHMRI included leading the Quality, Risk, and Safety Department and developing the Quality Management System. Earlier in their career, Dorota held positions at Preclinical, Imaging and Research Laboratories, the Institute of Medical and Veterinary Science, and vivoPharm Pty. Ltd., where responsibilities ranged from managing quality systems to conducting preclinical studies. Dorota holds a Master of Science in Environmental Chemistry from Wroclaw University, Poland.
