Dipak Kalita

Dipak Kalita is an accomplished professional in the field of synthetic organic chemistry, currently serving as the Vice President and R&D Head at Shilpa Medicare Ltd since April 2023. With a robust background in research and development, Kalita has held significant positions at various leading companies, including Senior Director and Director of Process Development at Sai Life Sciences Ltd, and Director of Chemistry Services at GVK Bioscience Private Limited. Previous experience includes pivotal roles at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, where contributions involved process R&D of peptides and new chemical entities, and post-doctoral research at prestigious institutions in Japan. Kalita holds a Ph.D. in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from the Regional Research Laboratory in Jorhat, Assam, and a Master’s Degree in Organic Chemistry from Gauhati University.
