Vishal Pandit

Vishal Pandit has extensive experience in synthetic chemistry, currently serving as a Research Scientist at Sai Life Sciences Ltd since November 2013. Responsibilities include the synthesis of glycol linkers, heterocyclic intermediates, and compounds targeting respiratory diseases, while maintaining strict purity criteria for final products. Vishal has been involved in projects requiring the synthesis and purification of complex tricyclic compounds and various bioactive molecules. Prior experience includes a Scientist role at Piramal Discovery Technologies Ltd., where work focused on drug intermediates and amino acid derivatives, and a Researcher position at GSK, contributing to drug chemistry for HIV and hepatitis B treatments. Early career included a Research Chemist role at Chembiotek, specializing in sulphonamide derivatives. Vishal holds a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry from SP College, Pune.
