Senior Project Manager, Rare Disease at SAI MedPartners

Mellita Dsouza co-leads U.S.-based rare disease business initiatives at SAI MedPartners. She also works alongside the SAI MedPartners consulting teams by providing them with primary and secondary research using the firm’s extensive industry resources and databases. Ms. Dsouza is uniquely able to bring holistic perspectives on the healthcare landscape to her project teams by utilizing her years of research and consulting experience in rare diseases, neuroscience, cardiovascular genetics, vaccines, aesthetic dermatology, and medical devices in combination with her educational background in the life sciences, to support and offer key intelligence insights on assets in early clinical phases, commercial growth, and mature brands.

Ms. Dsouza received her BTech in Biotechnology from Dr. D. Y. Patil University. She obtained an MS in molecular medicine from the University of Sheffield and an MS in biotechnology from the University of Pennsylvania, where she also received a certificate in engineering entrepreneurship.
