Principal Business Process Engineer- Linehaul at Saia

Glen Moore has diverse and extensive work experience in the transportation industry. Glen started their career at FedEx Freight, where they worked as an Assistant Customer Center Manager and later as a Freight Flow Manager. During their time at FedEx, they successfully managed various operations, streamlined processes, and received recognition for their contributions.

In 2002, Glen joined Yellow, where they held different roles over a span of more than two decades. Glen served as a Project Manager, leading the planning and implementation of the company's next day network. Glen then became a Senior Manager in Operations Planning, overseeing the strategic design of the linehaul network and collaborating with senior and field management to execute operational plans. Their exceptional performance in this role earned him recognition for excellence.

Glen's final role at Yellow was as the Director of Linehaul Network Research. In this position, they led a team of data scientists and operations experts in the design, planning, and implementation of a Super-Regional LTL network. Glen also spearheaded a network transformation project to optimize asset utilization, enhance efficiencies, and integrate regional carriers, resulting in cost savings and improved capacity.

Most recently, Glen joined Saia Inc. as a Principal Business Process Engineer in Linehaul. Their responsibilities in this role are not yet specified.

Glen Moore pursued their education at the University of Missouri-Columbia from 1988 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Following a gap in their education, they enrolled at Penn Valley Community College from 2002 to 2003, completing 63 hours in Mechanical Engineering, although the field of study is not specified.
