Lou’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts, History, Broadcasting, Journalism, and Government from Nicholls State University, obtained between 1971 and 1975, and a Juris Doctorate in Civil Law from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, earned from 1985 to 1989.
