Michael Jones

Michael Jones, SHRM-SCP, serves as the Regional Human Resources Manager at Saia Inc. since July 2015, overseeing human resources matters for the Houston area and several terminals in South Texas and Western Louisiana. Previously, at Marathon Oil Company from June 2006 to March 2015, Michael specialized in federal and state compliance, employee relations, and policy administration, notably developing the company's Affirmative Action Program and conducting audits to mitigate business liabilities. Earlier, as Regional HR Manager at CEVA Logistics from 2000 to 2006, Michael managed employee relations and successfully led efforts to prevent union organization in the Eastern U.S. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management and Operations from the University of Houston.
